René becomes bigger: three maxi armchairs in the courtyard of Meridiani Store in Milan

Traditionally featured by the gentle and versatile elegance of its own collections, Meridiani decides to express its powerful identity at Milan Design Week 2024 by showing its daring, strong, innovative, and creative side which characterizes the distinctive details of all its products.

According to this purpose, Andrea Parisio – Meridiani’s designer and art director – choses one of his creations to express this message of brand’s artistic awareness: the iconic upholstered René armchair. Born in 2022, the little and compact René by Meridiani becomes bigger during the Milan Design Week. With a tripled volume and covered with a brand signature fabric, the three maxi René armchairs are the protagonists of the inner courtyard of Meridiani Store Milan placed in via Manzoni 38.

The three Meridiani René maxi armchairs are an installation to be watched and read: they are a message to be written and drawn while people look at them. Among the fabric’s weaves and the letters of Meridiani’s name, there are the tailor-made matrix and the artisanal memory of the company’s history, path, and evolution which is able to communicate its own personality in a gentle and strong way.
